"Not just for runners! I’m an avid walker with middle age fussy feet and toes that have continually spread since childbirth (thanks kids!). I dislike wearing sneakers, but they’re a necessity. I’ve always been intimidated going into running stores since I don’t run, which I know is just silly. I developed IT band syndrome and am sick to no end of Ill-fitting sneakers so I popped in this morning. The nice man used the shoe fitting technology (thingie you stand on and accompanying iPad software) and his expertise to help me. The first pair I tried on felt great. We went up a half size, added fancy insoles and voilà, sneakers that felt as good as a pair of sneakers could possibly feel."

"Went this weekend for a pair of running shoes. Arrived just after opening, walked in with my husband. There was 1 other customer in the store and 2 sales guys. I was barely greated, they ignored my husband and I stood there for 10 minutes waiting to try on some shoes without being helped. I was finally asked if I needed help; I asked one question and they went back to talking with the other customer. One sales guy was far more concerned with foam rolling his quads than working. Thanks, but I'll just order online instead of supporting your local business. That was a total waste of my time."
