"Place needs an major update! Rooms/ bed smelled like urine, big spiders in room, and the water pressure was poor and water was cold. Pool was NOT heated as advertised. Staff very nice. The waitress does everything there. She checks you in/out, sets up breakfast, serves dinner. Don't think you can get breakfast before 7:30 and get on with your day. No breakfast before 7:30 for the early risers."
"This is such a hidden gem! My family and I absolutely loved our time there. The views are beautiful and the staff were so friendly. This is not a fancy hotel with extreme amenities but it is a one of a kind place that you will fall in love with! The breakfast is good! The kayaks/paddle boards were a wonderful amenity. The air conditioner was quiet and worked well. The bonfire every night was a wonderful way to connect with the other guests. Wish we could go back every year!"
"Pros: quaint hotel by the water and has great views. They offer use of the small boats by the dock and a fire pit. We visited in October but I imagine it would be excellent in the summer. Breakfast was by far the best I have ever had as part of free breakfast. Rooms well decorated and spacious. Cons: rooms have very loud conditioning unit which does not heat the room well. It was VERY cold inside. The bathroom was small compared to the rest of the room. No fan in the bathroom. My credit card was stored and charged to another person’s reservation which is concerning. I did get a refund after calling but the fact that my card was stored in another unrelated reservation is a security concern. Day 1 there was a car parked outside our room which was left on and running with a man sitting in it in for hours. The noise did keep us up but he left around 9pmish. “Heated” pool was not heated."
"Rooms have been redone but the walls are very thin. Could here the neighbor one one side sneezing all night and the other neighbors tv. I love law and order but not at midnight. The view is wonderful even on cloudy rainy days. The fog gave it a fantastic spookiness for October. The rooms looked clean however the floor was actually so dirty that a quick walk from the bed to the bathroom made my white socks almost black which was pretty dang gross. The breakfast buffet was pretty decent. One of the staff members spent her time talking about the low quality of the food and beverages and how gross everything was. I thought that was very unprofessional and unnecessary. There aren't many options around this area so if you bring some slippers or keep your shoes on to walk around the room and some earplugs, you'll be in good shape!"
"We had a pleasant time here. The rooms were modern with furniture but dated in air conditioning and other minor amenities. There was no full-length mirror and the mirror that was in the bathroom was on the sidewall to where it was nearly impossible to shave conveniently. Each room had a private balcony with two large Adirondack chairs, that overlooked the bay which was really nice to sit out in the morning. Pros: The breakfast was included and was better than any hotel I've been to, I have done a lot of traveling and this one was very good, especially free. The pool was very warm, we didn't get time in it too much but it was nice. They have a fire pit that you're welcome to use along with kayaks and the water is right in front of you. Recommend improvement: -EV charging on site -small gutter above the balcony roof -more quiet air conditioning system"
