"We went during a slow night, so it was unusually quiet, but the food was tasty and our server was absolutely lovely. The menu has a good mixture of options at different price points so you can go all out or be more frugal and have a lovely meal either way. There's something for everyone too, so if you have picky family or children you'll all walk away satisfied."
"Food was excellent. Server was great. The wait was normal for this time of year. Surf n turf was prime rib and baked stuffed shrimp. French onion and Ceasar salad were good."
"Spent a weekend in White Mountain area and found a steakhouse next to our hotel. We went Saturday afternoon and got seated right away. Waitress was friendly. We got there early @330 and I was craving steak and baked potato. She told us no potatoes until 4, so we each got an appetizer and stalled(lol). My wife got pretzel bites that came with honey mustard and beer cheese. She loved them. I got french onion soup. It was good cheese was a little chewy but broth was full of onions and flavor. For main course my wife got a garden salad,6 oz Filet mignon(medium)and baked potato(after4). I got garden salad, 12 oz Ny Strip(rare) and baked potato. Filet was melt in your mouth! It came with a red wine mushroom ay jus. Strip was amazing, topped with garlic herb butter. Merlinos steaks were top quality flavorful. This was one the best steak houses I've been to in awhile. No room for dessert. Bill came to $104 not counting tip. Worth every penny for great steaks!"
"Merlino's was amazing! We didn't realize it when ordering, but we started with an appetizer of Nachos (not photographed, devoured very quickly) and they were Huge! Definitely enough for two people. Being from the Southwest, nachos with BBQ is the best idea I've ever seen. When our actual dinner came out (the pictures) we had to get to-go boxes, but it was a great breakfast."
"We really wanted that pub experience, but we were escorted us upstairs away from bar/pub to an open bright dining hall type room. Not cozy or romantic but full of windows to the streets. Nice enough. The onion soup and chili were wonderfully delicious! The steak tips were beautifully marinated and cooked perfectly, as was the salmon. The homemade brownie Sunday was big enough to share, and memorable for sure! The server was nice."
