"I’ve never had a worse experience in a liquor store. I’ve been several times, and purchased without a problem, but this particular occasion was informed my Connecticut license was unsatisfactory identification. While I wasn’t thrilled, my in laws (who live locally) came in and offered their IDs to finish the purchase with my card. Well, the cashier charged me for an additional two bottles of the liquor, and offered no receipt. Luckily I happened to notice the transaction was significantly larger than it should have been and insisted it was made right. What REALLY got me though, was when I went in to get my refund, it was asked if I wouldn’t prefer a purchase to a direct refund. It seems my Connecticut ID would have worked just fine when faced with having to give money taken without proper authorization BACK to a customer. Horrific customer service and shady transaction all together. Watch the cashiers and insist on a receipt."
