Reviews
"This place was like joining family for a warm, comfortable atmosphere and yummy REAL food that isn't pre-cooked or from a food service company. The folks here are friendly, appreciative, and efficient."
"I really like the food here. All farm fresh eggs . Everything is delicious, doesn't matter what you pick off the menu. My favorite is their sausage gravy over biscuits. My husband had a fat steak last time, and I snagged a bite...delicious. We where sat down very quickly, and their staff is always welcoming. Plus they have mimosas. Yum"
"Terrific place, my mom's favorite! We have been a few times. Parking is free, readily available with handicap parking available. This is a farm to table restaurant, and everything I believe is home made. The portion sizes are excellent, freshness is always there. We were seated immediately, and drink order taken. We placed an order for appetizers that came before the food, which is always perfect. My mom got fried pickles, they were steaming hot! She loved them. They were served with ranch, lightly friend and very good. My step dad ordered a burger plate with coleslaw, which he devoured. It was fantastic he said. The burger was big, fries cooked great, meal was huge. My mom ordered clam strips and she loved them. Big serving, Perfectly cooked, sides were perfect and she got extra coleslaw to take home. I got the turkey open face sandwich plate with extra cranberry sauce- it was very good. The only think I noticed was the turkey was super salty and I couldn't finish it- I think soaked in a brine maybe? The stuffing was salty as well, which was unusual for this restaurant. Everything was home made though, great portion size and I would 100% go back again. Really love the atmosphere- it's a country setting where you can see staff and check out working behind the counter. Check out procces was simple with a temptation of baked goods you can't resist right by register lol! Cute signage through out, clean and really nice staff. Can't wait to go back again!"
"I was very disappointed in our breakfast experience. It was our first time dining here. My husband and I both agreed the food was good but mine was cold. The eggs, the meat and homefries, all cold. If the waitress came back after dropping our food off, I would have simply asked her to put my plate in the microwave but she never came back to check on us. When she brought the check I told her that my food was cold, she disappeared with the check without so much as a word and brought it back to the table without so much as a word. No apology, nothing. My husband said he believes they took off $1.50 or something. I didn’t want a discount, just hot food and maybe an apology. Oh well. There are numerous breakfast places in the area. We will not be returning here."
"Burgers were supposed to be medium, but instead, we got well done. The tenders were overcooked as well. They were dry. The onion rings were the best part of the meal. For what we got: two deluxe burgers, one with bacon and one normal. 3 tenders with a small side of onion rings, a large order of onion rings, and a coffee with two lemon waters (lemon was from concentrate at the table and not an actual lemon). Our bill came out to just about $60. A reasonable price would have been no more than say $40 to $45. With the quality of the food, maybe Eben $35. I probably will never go back to this place. Very disappointing. The best part of it was our waitress. She was very friendly and did a great job. The cook/ chef needs to either learn temps or timing to get the food out the way customers want."
