"Great dinner. Everyone so friendly. Food was superb. Had a great time."
"Came from North Carolina and was excited to try local food! Completely dissatisfied and disappointed with Otto’s. Service was extremely slow on refills for water and tea. Waited over an hour for our main entree and 50minutes for appetizers. During this time, my son spilt his water, twice, and we had to ask for help cleaning it up. Food was awful. NOT flavorful! My boys ordered chicken Alfredo and it tasted as if there wasn’t cheese in the sauce. Very bland. My youngest daughter didn’t get her main entree until we finally left, 2 hours later!!!! Absolutely ridiculous our meals didn’t come out around the same time. I asked for my steak to be medium well and got medium to medium rare. Potatoes and lobster dip were the only items worth buying and eating. So sad this place didn’t work out as we drove 15+ hours for something so gross. I would have rather eaten sandwiches from a gas station than this food. My son mentioned it might be because we weren’t “dressed” up enough so the staff might have thought we were poor….sad. I hope this isn’t true."
"What a great spot in Augusta! We had the angel hair pomadora, such fresh ingredients. Heidi was so accomodating, she even gave us vegan parmesean. Nice view of the river, easy parking our front."
"This is the best restaurant in Augusta, with the best staff! Awesome to be able to sit on the porch and see the river. The opposite of pretentious. The sweet potato dish is fantastic, and the lemon pie was incredible. All around great food at reasonable prices. But it is the staff at this restaurant that really shines. They make you feel at home - like part of the neighborhood. Jackie is a standout. People skills and work ethic are going to take her far. One day she will be in elected office or a business leader, or have whatever she wants from life. Lexi, who recently joined the team, was also very kind and competent. Looking forward to being back at this restaurant next summer."
"This was our first time dining here. We went in for the Saturday breakfast buffet. Times are 9 - noon. The food was great. The rooms are beautiful. They are decorated very nicely. On the buffet, they had prime rib (tender and great), fruit, sausages, bacon, eggs benedict, sausage gravy with biscuits, corned beef hash, breakfast potatoes, and different breads. They will make pancakes, eggs (your way), and omelets. There is a full bar available along with coffee, juices, and water. The owner is on-site and very friendly. They have a great website. Check it out."
