The Shed

"Our family decided to eat at this restaurant after a day of skiing and pond hockey. The vibe of the restaurant was nice and everyone seemed to be having a good time. We were looking forward to having a tasty meal but were disappointed when several other tables that arrived after us recieved their orders immediately while we were left waiting. After waiting 90 minutes (along with another large table that arrived after us), we asked about our order and the waitress said the order “got lost” and that the cooks never received it. After reading other reviews about this restaurant, I realize this type of poor service is standard for this restaurant - particularly for visitors. Don’t waste your time or money here! There are many other restaurants in town that will serve both good food and service. This was a horrible experience all-around and a lousy way to spend a vacation meal."

"We got out of work and back to our cabin and ordered the brisket meal a couple of them for me and the boys . Well let's just say hour and a half later and 3 trips to rhe restaurant the food never come out and we had to cancel the order. They didn't seem to care they told us to come back 2 time and made no effort to offer anything int it's place."

"Arrived on a Tuesday night around 5:30. No greeting upon entering. Sat at bar planned on ordering food and drinks . Ordered drinks that were overpriced and underwhelming. Bartender/waitress was very off putting. Never asked us if we were going to eat. Menu was very boring, we decided between the rude service and lack of menu to pay and leave. We asked for check it took her 15 min to get back to us. Will never return, nor recommend. Drove just down the rd to Sarge's and it was a completely opposite experience."

"A Diamond in the Rough. Glad we discovered it. Excellent Apps and they have beer and spirits. Great staff. A very cozy atmosphere with a bar too. Stop in and get “Shed Faced!”"

"Tasty barbecue option in Rangeley, Maine. I had the brisket sandwich and my wife ordered the pulled pork sandwich. Both sandwiches were served on fresh brioche buns and topped with some awesome coleslaw. The meat was good, but I wish they had some sauces to choose from to add to the sandwich. We ordered an appetizer of fried poutine (French fries topped with gravy and fried cheese curds) - it was delicious. Portions were generous and service was quick."
