"Food... Non existent Service.... Non existent Paid $32 for a tequila seltzer and a apple spritz. Which were not good at all. Unbelievable pricing. Bartender woman was either super drunk or on a good one. Music was ok. I feel like this place could be a good venue but there are set backs. As far as seating and the bar set up. Security guard wasn't too friendly but I felt he was the man for the job if there was anything that would go down in that place. If you're you're looking for a better spot go around the corner to the other place. Live music, better food, and better service."

"Real classic- ish jazz bar! The musicians were the real deal... my drink was underwhelming, bartender is who he is but I found him unpleasant. The atmosphere was cool. Good people. Great music experience."

"Solid vibe, and one of the best kept secrets in Boston. Be ready to get cozy with the group you bring and come early. This is a tiny 'shotgun' style bar, with a bar on one side and seating on the other. Great shows on Monday nights. They start late but worth the late night. I would come for the music and stick to the beer and whiskey (neat) here!"

"This place is an absolute institution of Boston. It has amazing history and even more amazing people that play and visit every day. When you go here you can feel confident that you are contributing to not only the history of Boston but the history of Jazz itself. While the staff can be a little bit stern at times, if you come in respectful to them and their process they are truly some of the kindest people I’ve met in the city. Understand they have rules in place to keep it a fun and safe place for everyone. I’ve only been a handful of times but it’s one of my favorite places in the city and I’m so grateful to be able to go to somewhere so special."
