"I had never used Hastings before, and we were in the market of hardwood floors for two bedroom and carpeting for a loft We were greeted by Kristen Hastings. She was awesome. Answered all of pur questions. I loved the flooring that is THEIR flooring in the store, which happened to be Amendoin, which is an exotic hardwood. A bit pricey. So we proceeded on our way to several other flooring stores in our area. We'll, needed less to say we came back to Hastings and ordered the Amendoin! My main concern was installation. I needed people who knew what they were doing. She assured me that she had installers that do hardwood and installers that did carpeting. And she was RIGHT. We are more than pleased. Kristen worked with us to schedule installation and we had the best installers for both hardwood and carpeting. Many many thanks to ALL involved and would most definitely recommend Hastings. You WILL be pleased."

"Three bedrooms in our home were carpeted by Hastings. We purchased from them on two other occasions. These carpets were not properly installed by their installers and the wall to wall carpets in all three rooms rippled and developed unsightly waves from not being properly stretched during installation. Either Hastings didn’t use a power stretcher properly or didn’t allow the carpeting to warm or acclimate and relax properly prior to installation. All three rooms have these resulting unsightly waves presenting trip hazards and simply a shoddy appearance. I called Hastings and they would not come to repair them as they said it was just outside the warrantee period. The person answering the phone and handling our concern is apparently the daughter or family member of the ownership and was indifferent and rude. She displayed zero interest in listening to our concerns or offering any sort of potential reasonable solution. A good and reputable business would not treat a repeat customer in this manner. We will be sure never to use Hastings again and caution anyone considering them for their floor covering needs to shop elsewhere."
