"This is my number one choice when staying overnight in Albany for work. I am so happy I found them. The rooms are clean and the front desk people are so nice. Most importantly its a great price!! For just one person looking for somewhere safe and clean to sleep its great. Bed is comfortable. I have never had any reason to not stay here again!! Highly reccomend! I am confused by the negative reviews especially the ones that mention the quality of breakfast. For the price i am shocked they even offer anything and they do it becuase it is NICE. I have stayed at other similiarly priced hotels in the area that actually were sketchy and dirty. This place is great. When you are paying half the price maybe people should try being more grateful that they even offer a hotel of this quality in their budget instead of just complaining about it. You can tell the people who own it are trying to give you a comfortable stay and I appreciate it. Rant over. Thank you guys for many, many clean and bugdet friendly stays!!!!"
"What not to expect a 2 star hotel. Very basic. The window sill was moldy. Basic bread fast, all carb. The manager if you can get a hold of him is rude. Other than the location, not much else can brag about. Better off paying a few bucks more and getting from Hampton just a few feet down."
"Do NOT book this hotel under any circumstances. It is the most vile and horrid place I have ever stayed in. The entire hotel is covered in mold, the rooms are absolutely disgusting, and the staff is very unhelpful. I booked a five day stay here, and immediately checked out within an hour of being in my room because the air conditioner was broken and the room was 80°. Additionally, the room and hallway were covered in mold. The room was dirty with spiders, dead cockroaches, trash and dirt, stains all over the bed, and what appeared to be dried blood underneath the mattress. When I brought up my concerns of the room being uninhabitable to the front desk, I was given a broken and extremely dirty box fan because nobody was available to fix the air, and I was told that "it is better than nothing". After that, I immediately checked out, was hit with dirty looks and it appears that I offended the lady at the front desk when I criticized the cleanliness of the hotel, and booked a much nicer hotel near the Albany airport. I will be contacting the health department and potentially the Better Business Bureau to further investigate this hotel because I believe this location does not deserve business anymore."
"Beds moved a lot. They might be made that way to help clean around them faster but they move a lot which was very weird. Breakfast was 1 Toaster for the only food item....toasted products! (Bagels, bread etc) Service was good. Parking was good. Toilet flushed. 2.5/5"
"Ok so this hotel looks not so great from the outside, especially at 1:30 in the morning on a random Thursday. Painted cinder block style, a sketchy feeling parking lot, minimal florescent outdoor lighting, hotel hallway that has windows onto the narrow, weed filled "alley " between the 2 buildings. But don't let all that fool you or keep you from staying here! Our room was clean (we tore apart our beds to check for bedbugs, and the beds were spotless) our shower was hot and strong, and the beds were very, very comfortable with good pillows (they were on wheels on a non-carpeted floor, which was funny). There's a big (for a hotel) refrigerator, a microwave, and a good sized desk. To get into our hallway from the parking lot was a swipe with our door key, so that felt safer. And the people at the front desk, both at check in and check out the next morning were so nice and helpful, they were lovely. So I know it isn't much to look at, and the breakfast was a bit lackluster, but the rooms were nice, and in the end, it was a very comfortable place to sleep and it was welcome after a hard start to a trip! I'm grateful to have found it!"
