Grecian Diner

"What a mistake going here. This was the longest experience at a diner we've ever had. And it smelled strong like cleaner. The waitress had no attention span for the 1 table in the house. While we waited for her to take our slip, she walked by, then I watched her chat about the game on TV and pick up a broom. After we had already said something about the 2 sandwiches taking 40 minutes and wanting to leave, as well as forgetting a side dish that was ordered prior. First she blamed us not being ready as to why the food was taking over 40 minutes. Then apparently it's because the gyro meat takes 40 minutes to cook? Which is it? And if it takes that long, maybe warn people. A long experience at a diner is not what people expect. But obviously, that wasn't the real problem, just an excuse. I truly think she forgot to put our order in for a good while. She proved time and time again she wasn't paying attention. Will never go back and now I understand why it was dead when we walked in. Oh and totally forgot, I tried to make things faster by paying cash after she walked by and didn't take our credit card. I couldn't take it anymore. Thinking cash would be a simple solution, boy was I wrong. That turned into a long problem, too. How? I don't know. But we left there extremely frustrated."

"Nothing like a New England Greek Diner. It’s common to find home made corned beef hash up here…and I did. Now if you’re used to the canned stuff you need to be ready for anything as the home mades can vary drastically. Excellent at The Grecian, shredded meat. Worth the stop!"

"Love this place! Their breakfast Omelets are the best and their service is great. One area that really touched my heart and stands out for me is that I lost something valuable and when they noticed after I left the diner, they called me right away. They not only have great food but are people of integrity. You should check it out!"

"We've eaten here quite a few times and never had a bad meal. The owner is a super nice guy who cooks from the heart and you can tell. We recently went on a weeknight and were the only customers. Service was great and the food came out in less than 15 minutes. The lemon chicken soup was awesome, definitely home made . The meatloaf w/mashed was the best I've had on the N. Shore and my wives Fettuccine Alfredo w/ chicken was great."

"Unassuming little place with an absolutely outstanding breakfast. Ate there this morning. Already planning to go back soon. Potatoes were phenomenal. Everything was. Asked for well done bacon, perfection, not in photo because I gobbled it up."
