"The only breakfast place to visit in Newport. If there is a queue for a table, it is well worth a wait! The friendliest staff, very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The menu has a great range to suit everyone, French Toast, Mexicali Benedict, omelletes - we've tried lots and everything has been delicous and good value for money. Thanks Nick, Christian and Britney for always being so welcoming, Franklin Spa became our weekend ritual."

"Get in early. Newport is tough to get a early breakfast out. I had the hash omelette so much flavor. So good. Bring your patience they cook to order, which of course has its benefits. We returned again in 2023.."

"Good local family owned breakfast place. There’s going to be a wait if you come after 8:30AM but they do a good job of keeping things moving along speedily. I do agree with some of the other reviews about service being slow. Once they brought us our food, we then had to wait yet again for them to bring our utensils. The staff is very nice and friendly though! As for the food, I thought it was very typical. Nothing amazing or out of this world. Would come back to try their specialty items, but this time around we just got omelettes and green smoothies."

"Unfortunately our visit to Franklin Spa was not all that we thought it would be. Looking for a spot to have a quick birthday breakfast my group and I chose Franklin Spa since it happened to be the closest to where we were at the time. However, after ordering our drinks it took the waitress about 50minutes to an hour to come back with 2 coffees and a water (based on the time we ordered to when she reappeared). At this point we were about ready to get up and walk down the street to see if we could find another place to eat. However, we ultimately decided to stay, blaming the delay on the somewhat busy time. Yet, when we got our food we unfortunately found that much of what we ordered was under cooked. So to end, I will have to say I will not be returning to this establishment in Newport."
