"Food wasn’t good. I tried hash browns and a breakfast sandwich. The potato’s were cold and tasted like they were old & stored in a musty basement. They went straight to the trash as they were inedible. The breakfast sandwich was ham, egg, & cheese on a biscuit. The sandwich was ok but cold and the biscuit was very dry. I believe that place will be a stop for gas only in the future. Basically a waste of $8"
"We normally get our subs from Jersey Mikes (expensive but delicious) BUTTT— we have found a new sub place! Way less expensive. Chicken salad is out of this world definitely trying the tuna next time!"
"I love Amato's! When they are on there A game, it is quite amazing! They have a great breakfast coming from a gas station, fresh breakfast burritos and sandwiches! The burrito is my favorite, loaded with eggs, cheese, meat, onions, peppers, etc! Of course, the lunch and dinner options are great too! I love the sandwiches and baked pasta dinners! The pizza isn't bad, but isn't my preference. I will be back soon!"
"Called ahead for a sub today but when I went to pick up, I was told I could take one out of the display case since he just made 3 of them. I was so confused but when I tried to ask why I couldn't get it at the counter like all of the times before, he didn't seem to understand my point and was quite rude. I equate it to calling a pizza place for an order and when you go to pick it up, you're told to rummage through all the pizzas they've already made for today to find yours. The point of calling ahead is to have the food "made to order", not fish out of a display case when you get there. I could've just gone to any gas station for that without calling ahead. I understand if he was making some in advance, that's fine - put one aside, wrap it up and give at the counter when the customer is ready to pick up. The presentation was very off-putting. I would think after just newly renovating that side of the building to make the restaurant look nice and professional, they would want to serve you the food right at the counter."
"Just spent 20 min waiting for a meatball parm sub...meatballs were cooked separate from sauce and checked with thermometer, due to running out of meatballs...at an Italian sub shop! Three people behind counter, not one seemingly knowing what they were doing. First time tried this place that replaced Subway...won't be back"
