Reviews
"Best community cinema ever! Makes Williamstown a wonderful place to live."
"Great, locally owned movie theater, with friendly, personable staff and excellent programming."
"Fantastic place for a movie! Nice staff, real popcorn and BUTTER! One downside... we were there for a matinee of Maestro (i.e., a movie where the audio really matters). A number of cell phones went off at various times. It was clear the very-senior people who owned the phones didn't know that it was their phones. And, twice someone else would point it out, followed by "I don't know how to use my phone...". The next time I go, I'll be sure to ask the people around me if they'd like help muting their phones before the feature starts. And, also will ask the staff to make that request as people enter the theater."
"Great little one-screen theater. We saw "Theater Camp" one hot afternoon. I only wish for their sake, that management posted clearly outside that this is a non-profit theater, owned by the community (this was announced on screen before the movie): It would have prompted me to support the theater at the concession stand. I also recommend the theater post reviews of films playing outside (the NY Times, for example, chose Theater Camp as a "critics pick") to encourage greater patronage, as there were only about eight people in the theater."
"Throwback old school movie theater...... beautiful setting and facilities, shame about the not-so-friendly welcome from the guy on the ticket desk with white hair and glasses. Love the fact it's a 501 (C) and we massively love helping and supporting the arts, however and it's a huge massive however $10 each for a 4.30pm matinee - we ain't in Hollywood Dorothy."
