"We recently moved into Ryder in revere beach ma We love it, The apartment is beautiful with wonderful windows lots of light and across from the beach, the views are amazing the apt is really nice clean , the halls are clean and well maintained the common areas are beautiful and the complex is quiet. I have to mention our leasing agent James he went above and beyond for us.We moved here from another state and he was so patient with all my questions! He answered all our questions quickly and professionally And made the entire experience easy and fun. He continues to help us navigate and we can honestly say he was a big reason we decided to move here !! so helpful, so professional and so nice! Maintenance personnel are very nice and quick to answer of any issues and questions ! Adding a shout to Caroline ! Such a great help as well and so nice ! Very impressed !! thank you for making this move a really good experience !"
"I've lived here for 2 years. Staffs are nice, gym is nice, that's about it regarding what's good with the property. Utility bills are high - more than $100/month electricity of a 1 bedroom apartment with 1 person. Walls and floors are paper thin - Your room will shake when your downstairs neighbor plays music through speaker. When my upstairs neighbor walks I can tell where they are walking to - the ceiling would shake and squeak and it was annoying as hell. I moved out because I couldn't deal with the noise. Move in was easy. Move out was a little complicated regarding large item disposal. If you don't mind the noise and high utility bill, it is an affordable spot to live with comparatively easy commute."
"I lived at Ryder for 3 years. The amenities, and room quality for the price was pretty unmatched for its location, at least in my opinion. Gym access, pool access, office space available for reservations were all way above the average amenity list for apartments in Boston. Parking prices were extremely reasonable at least to me, the MBTA is a 7 minute walk to the best line (blue). The only issue I ever had was lag times on maintenance requests, I like the maintenance team but they are understaffed given the size of the buildings, and the front office isn’t that helpful moving those requests along. The front office is great at setting up community events. Overall, definitely recommend."
"Ryder has exceeded my expectations. The first morning I was here I woke to the most beautiful sunrise over the water I have ever seen! I have a corner unit, and there is constant activity out my windows to watch. The units are modern and thoughtfully designed, and I never hear any neighbors except for the occasional footsteps upstairs. I walk on the beach every day, and the sounds of the T lull me to sleep at night. Having a responsive maintenance team (with online service requests), a helpful staff, a package room, and a package delivery center are all perks. Can't imagine living in a nicer environment than this one!"
"Honestly was a good experience living here. As far as new buildings go, the sound insulation is quite good between units and road noise. Most people living there were pretty nice. Liked the management as well. The only issue we had was the utility bills were super high, $250+ per month electric with no A/C or heat usage, water was at least $100 for 2 people per month. Electric usage is 2-3x what we had before and after in a bigger place plus the kWh cost is higher. Glad we never used the heat (on the 6th floor) but that would’ve made the bills even higher. We even had the utility company come out and see if there was an issue, but it was correct. Windows not being able to open much was a bummer (and no, you can’t fix that like another reviewer mentioned). Didn’t have a problem with our deposit return like other mentioned. It was mailed on the 30th day (that’s what Mass law states has to happen) and got to us in a few days. Just make sure you give them your new address. We met with the leasing office before we left and that I think helped a lot. All and all if you can afford the expense, it’s a nice place to live and much quieter than other revere beach spots. 100% best views you’ll probably ever have."
