"Love living here at Munroe, everything is conveniently close by- pretty much walking distance. Management and maintenance are always on point, courteous and always respectful. Not to mention the building is always kept clean. 10/10 from my experience."
"The building is beautiful and always clean, very well managed. Extremely convenient from having an assigned parking spot to having everything you need within minutes of a walk or drive, is very well located. The apartment is so well design so every inch can be use. So far I'm very satisfied, also management helped us alot with the whole process to move here."
"Quincy is a great place with many amazing building choices, so do yourself a favor and avoid this one! We moved in around April, and it has been a total regret from day one. Within the first month we had to call the office for: dust blowing out from under our walls, broken doors, a broken stove, a broken washing machine, a bug infestation, blown fuses from trying to vacuum, outdoor doors that are supposed to be locked being propped open (by building employees no less), AC units not functioning properly (note: they control which months your AC can actually be used to cool your apartment so if you run warm, you’re out of luck Fall - Spring) and noise - non stop construction noise. While these issues were addressed and we were offered meetings with the building manager Nhi, we initially declined as we were hopefully that the issues being addressed meant they were behind us. Unfortunately, not the case. We’ve now been here about 6 months and are regretfully locked into living here another 10. The “renovations” they boast about, you’ll quickly realize are just cheap paint and tile jobs that will peel and chip if you so much as look at them the wrong way. The construction noise is non stop and as others have noted, when you point out that it’s disruptive, they just say they’re going as fast as they can. On top of that, they obviously do not choose contractors carefully as TWICE, contractors have entered my unit unannounced claiming they went to the wrong unit by accident. The water gets shut off frequently with little notice other than an email the night before. The fire alarms go off even more frequently, sometimes in the middle of the night. The package room entry system is always broken, so the door to the room is usually propped open, negating the benefit of a secured package space. They’ll make rules like no hanging decor on your unit door, but allow residents to pile their shoes outside their door causing horrendous odors in the halls. There is no guest parking, so any visitors have to park on the street and hope that they don’t get ticketed if they want to stay more than an hour. Things you shouldn’t have to think twice about, like watching tv or preheating the oven, will blow a fuse. We really wanted to love this place, and gave it 6 months in hopes we’d warm up to it, as the location is undeniably convenient. However, for the price they charge (they’ll claim market rate, but buildings in the area with much nicer features and amenities will charge you $200-500 less), you simply do not get what you pay for. Unfortunately breaking your lease and leaving early will run you nearly $10k, as they charge $3k and require 60 days notice to do so. We hoped for a better living experience, but given that after 6 months this doesn’t seem possible, we’ll be counting the days until June is here."
"We lived here for about 2.5 years and enjoyed it under the old management. The new management is horrendous. They did not return emails, and raised rents excessively on existing tenants to pay for all the new construction that won't benefit their units. The renovations also mean the water was turned off frequently for hours at a time and there was often loud noise construction. The fire alarm also went off on a regular basis. I find it extremely ironic they have staff replying to these reviews but not to emails of existing tenants."
"If you want to wake up to the sounds of construction at 7am every day, this is a great place!! Also, when you send an e-mail to their office, they do not respond. They don't treat you as a human being. No respect. no understanding. We say we need to sleep because we are working people and nobody cares. It's been 3 months and we still wake up to the sounds every day. I would definitely recommend you to go to much nicer places. Where there is no respect, nothing happens!"
