"Maintenance takes too long to respond to requests. I’ve been waiting 3+ weeks to have the sink garbage disposal fixed (would not turn on) which makes washing dishes (no dishwasher) very difficult with the sink not draining quickly. Management keeps giving stupid excuses as to why it’s taking so long - yet they have no problem with maintenance supervising outside contractors on unnecessary exterior building repairs. Quincy Commons is not getting “better and better” (that they like to state in annoying emails) if they cannot handle the load of minuscule day-to-day repairs. The dryer machines are useless. Setting on low heat causes item fabrics to come out with burnt spots. A fitted bed sheet I pulled out also ended up having random dark spots on it as well. Too expensive for the quality. My first apartment I lived in when I moved to Boston only cost $3.50 per load and none of my laundry came out damaged (rather put up with neighbor’s cat hair than deal with this)."
"Even tho we did not rent an apartment i have to say thar they are having amazin employees. Especially Arianna is so professional and helpful. I want to thanks for me and behalf of my wife. Best regards"
"Love it a quick walk to the beach dog friendly office was very polite and very helpful show me an apartment and I loved it"
"I would give 4 good stars to this place. My review may be a little bit outdated, as we lived there a few years ago in the pandemic times. I do not know if something changed for the last 2 years. However, it is a great location, 15 minutes walking distance from T-station, 5 minutes walk from the ocean beach. Not the best beach actually, but still a good option to have it. The complex outdoor area is well-maintained and pretty. Neighborhood is quite safe. As for the apartment itself, we were lucky with brand new kitchen appliances and new carpet, so no issues with that. We had a balcony with big old sliding doors, that could let the cold come inside in winter time. From the negative points, the biggest issue was the noise from the neighbors above. You literally can hear every step they make. Crazy annoying. Especially it drives you crazy when they wake up 5.30 am every single morning and make noise. The office would not help you with that at all. If you have a chance take the upper floor apartment. However, the walls are paper thin as well. As pretty much everywhere in US. Overall, the management is OK; they are quite fast in solving the issues inside an apartment. You get 1 assigned parking spot, but if you have more cars, there are safe street parking near the complex. There is a visitor parking behind the complex. A good thing as well that you pay just for electricity and internet, all the other utilities are included. So overall it is a good place to rent."
"⚠️⚠️⚠️The apartments are very nice, good size, quiet neighborhood. I don't know now, but the old managers were horrible. They got me in big trouble, damaging on my credit. 1) in December 2018 I signed a lease for 15 months, always paying the rent correctly on time, 4 months before my lease expired in an attempt to cancel, they gave me the alternative of passing the lease to someone else by adding that person to my lease until the 4 months expire (April 2019) and then the person would renew the lease only in his name. but unfortunately for a bad surprise i get a charge from the national system credit department saying i would be owing the quincy commons over $7k . manager simply made a copy of the lease and handed the person over for lease renewal where that person forged my signature by including me on the lease, providing my wrong phone number, my wrong email, so I will never know that my name would be included on the lease. new lease . and now i'm having a big headache to solve it."
