Heritage on the Merrimack Apartments

"When we moved in, we were really excited about the updated apartment and great amenities that we were advertised from the leasing office. On our move in day, we were surprised to find the maintenance team was still inside painting and touching up parts of our apartment. For those first few hours of moving in, we had to juggle moving boxes in while they finished up certain rooms. After moving in, we were excited to have a fireplace to enjoy over the winter. In the year that we have lived here, the fireplace has been fixed three times and still doesn’t work when you turn on the switch. The amenities that we were sold on included “year round grilling stations” which we were excited about. We later discovered that 1 of the 3 grills was broken all summer with an “out of order” sign and the other two didn’t have working igniters. These aren’t year round either unless you bring your winter boots and trudge through the snow banks to get to the one year round grill. Lately, we have been experiencing lots of issues with the leasing office on getting payments to go through and them taking several days to even return a single phone call or email. For the amount that we pay each month, the customer service and amenities here are lacking at times. Our laminate floors are covered in paint splatter from “touch ups” before move in, there are gaps in the flooring planks, and chips in the granite kitchen counters. To enter the building, you type the code into an archaic device that usually takes 3-4 attempts to have it unlock the door which isn’t helpful when your hands are full. These are all things that we didn’t think we would experience when signing on to a lease of $2500 a month. The maintenance staff has been incredibly helpful whenever we have needed them but we do wish that all of these other areas would be improved."

Their willingness to assist has been evident in various situations including lease renewals and addressing maintenance issues with appliances such as dishwashers, washing machines, clogged drains, and even a dryer with no heat (despite by oversight). Their pleasant demeanor and accommodation ensure that issues are promptly resolved."

"I had a problem with my dishwasher in my apartment and Sedin (maintenance) came to fix it. Sedin is an excellent maintenance worker. He saw the dishwasher couldn’t be fixed and brought me a new dishwasher. Excellent service thank you"

He is skillful and pleasant, and he always has a positive attitude. Mike treats the residents with respect, and he works to resolve problems quickly and efficiently. Thanks to Mike and his staff, we are always well-taken care of!"
