"Came here with a group of friends. The location is small and warm, with decent service. Due to the size of the restaurant, I would recommend reservations. Their menu has a variety of delicious Chinese and Japanese appetizers. The beef teriyaki sticks were a hit with our group. We split a few appetizers between the group - the prices were reasonable. The highlight of their menu is the fantastic hot pot. We stuck with the spicy broth which was some of the best I've ever had. I would go back to just sip on the spices."
"Wow, we were surprised how good the Pink Bamboo Hot Pot Cafe is. It was very delicious and we had to be back twice. The food was made with just enough spices so you can taste the fresh ingredients. Staffs here treat you like a friend and very attended. We will go back again when we visit Portsmouth again."

"If you enjoy an interactive meal building event this is really great. I have been to these places in Thailand and had the same great experience right in Portsmouth. Such a cool way to eat a meal. We had a split pot with spicy and mild broth. The waitress explained how to cook the meal and we got to it. We had chicken and seafood combos. It's a lot of food for two but can be done. The service was great. We had lunch and the drinks were quick followed by things to cook in short order."
