"I don’t usually write reviews, let alone bad ones but we had a horrible experience here and will never return. I understand mistakes happen but our 2 year old German shepherd was cut wide open to remove a foreign body that would “not pass on its own”. After deciding to proceed with the surgery a few doctors said to move forward with, it was in fact a bolus of food moving through his digestive system and no foreign object was found. I was devastated they had done such an extensive surgery for nothing and the dog took a while to heal. This vet cared more in this situation about money than making the situation right and it was very disheartening to see as our dogs are our lives. Staff seemed unprofessional when dealing with how unhappy we were and they even refused to see the us when I had a concern about the healing incision until the financial aspect was resolved. Overall would never return."

A special shout out to Dr. Lee who has continued to take special care of one of my canine girls. What many people don’t know is that I have been in human medicine for nearly 40 years. Most clinicians lack the bedside manner for their patients. Dr Lee, you could have been a great human doctor (as your bedside manner is, without doubt, one of the best I’ve ever experienced), but I am so very grateful that you chose a field in veterinary medicine because that is where I’ve needed you most. "Dr Beaver is the best. Most surgeons usually recommend surgery because that's what they do. Dr Beaver always has his patients best interest in mind. He takes each situation and recommends what best in that specific case. I drive 2 hours from NH with my dogs just to get his opinion, which I trust 100%. It's worth the drive every time."

"My dog was seen at the Buzzards Bay site. All of the staff were polite, kind and professional, and the doctors were great. My dog got excellent care there. From the caring, welcoming front desk, to the vet nurses, to the surgeon, it was all exceptional. The doctor discussed with us trying the most conservative surgical plan for my dog, and we really appreciated that because a previous vet pushed us into drastic, fruitless surgery that caused a lifetime issue for my dog. I wouldn’t hesitate to take any of my dogs to the Buzzard’s Bay office if I needed to, and I would recommend them in a heartbeat. My sister informed me about the hospital and her experience was just as good. The doctors are among the best I have taken my dog to, and similar to a mother with her children, good care for our pets is of utmost importance. Thank you to everyone at this hospital !!! I only wish that my regular vet was this good. Thanks for truly caring, I will never forget this experience, that just couldn’t have been better."
