"To be fair, this is a 2 star hotel (at best). I booked here two weeks ago to stay with my family and the first weekend was okay. Nothing truly to complain about. Considering it’s a “prime location” for tourist attractions, the price is high, however very much not worth it. $240 for two nights for a hotel that is extremely lackluster, but again, no complaints until this past weekend. We decided to return due to convenience but I will say that I wish I looked more into the reviews. We stayed in the same room as the previous weekend. All was well until I had noticed a stain on the linen from when we were there last time from pizza. Immediately I was grossed out. Regardless of if it was from my own family- it goes to show that they didn’t properly clean the room nor the linens. Later that evening my kids had fallen ill with a stomach bug. Expectedly, a lot of it had gotten on the bedding unfortunately. When I had called down to ask for more linens they told me they didn’t have any extra. So we were out of luck to get more bedding and had to go the night with the literal bare minimum. Aside from the puke fest, we were utilizing the microwave and suddenly half of the room’s electricity went out. I called down and was assured someone would be there in a few minutes. A half an hour rolls around and I call back down, a woman answers and again assures me that someone will be there shortly. Nobody showed up. I called a third time and she says to me (annoyed) to not use all of the outlets at once because she’s not at the motel and isn’t coming back out to fix it. All in all our stay wasn’t too great. Upon leaving, my husband was checking the room one last time for any items left and to his dismay, he finds a used baggie (we all know what for) and a nip bottle under one of the beds. Was I shocked, no. Was I expecting it, also no. When returning the keys to the front desk, I disclose this finding to the gentleman I had checked in with and all he did was apologize and then try to explain how he hadn’t rented the room to anybody besides us in the last two weeks. Goes to show how thorough his room service team is, who knows how long that was there for! God forbid one of my children actually had gotten a hold of either item. My ultimate review is I will not be returning and to warn future guests about my experience."
"If you choose to stay at this hotel Do Not Book thru "Customer Care". I accidently booked 2 nights instead of one and No one, not even the reception at the hotel, was willing to help me change the resis to one night. I won't, BTW, stay at this hotel again either, even tho I haven't stayed there yet. ( I go on Friday night and maybe someone will have mercy. Just very bad business all around."
"This was an adequate, inexpensive place to crash at night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Some of our towels had brown stains and there was a dirty ice bucket in our room, but it worked. As long as you aren't looking for a 5-star suite with spotless towels, it will work. The tub/shower exterior liner was falling off, too, but it worked as a place to sleep. There are some shops and a bar/grill nearby as well, however there are no provided meals. Just have an eating plan. Overall, not half bad. I've seen worse. Staff was nice and will be appropriate as a place to crash, not much more."
"We needed a room for one night after a party. We called the day before and asked for an early check in and we’re told that would not be a problem, when we arrived (30 minutes after we expected to get there) we were told the room wasn’t ready and it would be another hour (actual check in time). The rugs, window treatments, and walls definitely need updating…I would go as far to say the rugs are gross. The bed was comfortable and felt clean. The door from the stairway to our hallway was missing a doorknob….for the amount we paid I would expect these basic things to be fixed promptly."
