"This was my first root canal and I am so glad I went with Dr. Nghiem. He was very patient in walking me through the process. From the anesthesia to the root canal itself, it was completely painless. I’ve had cavity fillings worse than this. He is very methodical when he’s working and has a very steady hand. Not only that, the anesthesia wore off soon after leaving the office (I hate when I’m numb for hours) so he used the right amount. Hopefully won’t be needing another root canal any time soon, but if I did I would definitely recommend Dr. Nghiem!"

"I was a bit concerned about going to the dentist during the pandemic so when I finally got vaccinated and went they told me I needed a root canal. I told my friend I was dreading getting a root canal because I hate the numbing shots. He told me he went to Dr Nghiem and had an awesome experience. I was a bit hesitant but scheduled the appointment. When I walked into the office it was clean and quiet. The front desk person was warm and welcoming. I filled out he usual forms and was taken to the room to get the root canal and get numbed up. I was starting to get nervous. For me it's not the needle entering that hurts, it's when they inject the Novocaine. So the needle goes in and I felt the initial pinch. I braced myself for the injection and it didn't hurt! I think the difference with what Dr Nghiem did was take his time slowly injecting instead of slamming it all in at once. I wish all dentists did that. I actually got numb pretty quick which usually doesn't happen. The procedure went quickly and was painfree! Now whenever a friend needs a root canal I always refer them to South Coast. They treat their patients so well."
