Market Basket (Athol)

"This rating has nothing to do with the grocery shopping experience. This review has everything to do with the "market kitchen." First, when I stepped to the counter, there was only me, and one other customer. A third came and took a number ( me and the existing customer did not ). Did the cook (I use the term very loosely) decided to skip us two over in favor of the last to arrive, for he had picked a number. To which he ordered steak and cheese, apparently that's a gourmet order. As the "cook" couldn't do anything else but a steak and cheese. The other "cook" that was present went in the back for a lengthy amount of time. The "pizza cook" was busy holding up a wall. I can understand the importance of this. So after a half hour or so, there are 3 "cooks" here's my chance!! Nope, the "cook" that skipped over the two of us was handed a phone in order of a steak and cheese, which we've learned from this review is his nemesis. So I decided to leave empty-handed. The moral of this story is that grocery shopping at MB is a joy, trying to order food at the "Market Kitchen," is horrifying, upsetting, depressing, and you learn there is nothing more difficult and in need of undivided attention as a steak and cheese."

Sit down and have a meal before you go shopping they have many choices from sushi, Pizza, deli sandwiches, roast chicken, burgers and More. Let's not forget some delicious. Look for the special of the week."
