"I believe that if I have got sushi, my experience would have been better. I ordered Sesame chicken and Hibachi Chicken and Scallop combo. The Sesame chicken was ok, but the Hibachi was terrible. The Scallop was unedible and disgusting. It tasted of frozen stuff thawed out quickly and thrown together. Zero flavor what so ever. My local Chinese place makes amazing Hibachi compared to this. For what I paid, I would expect a chef to take more pride in his dish. I will give this place one more chance with Sushi, maybe. The Scallop tasted so bad it will be hard to spend money there again."

"Shogun in Delmar is our go to sushi restaurant. We usually take out, but occasionally dine in. The service is exceptional here. They truly go out of their way to make your experience a good one. The food, whether it be sushi or other things is always good. It's always tasty and fresh. If they have the Korean Surf & Turf roll as a special, GET IT! Trust me on this. It's in the top 5 things I've ever eaten. I wish it was a regular menu item. My other favorite roll is the Golden dream. The Pink Panther roll is great too."

"The service at Shogun is exceptional. They treat every costumer like gold. The food looks like artwork and it is absolutely delicious! Attached is a photo of the geisha rolls that I ordered. My favorite dessert is the green tea mochi. My aunt got the tempura ice cream which she loved. This is currently my favorite restaurant and I think it would be yours too if you gave it a try!"

"So delicious! Service was wonderful, accommodating. Great value for the amount of food, especially lunch boxes! Spicy edamame was a nice twist. Butternut squash soup with miso and a bit of fresh apple to start. Highly recommend."

It really exceeded all expectations with delicious sushi, sashimi, miso soup, tempura and salads. Our friends are from the L.A. area and were very impressed by the freshness and quality. Our waitress was friendly and attentive to our table."
