"I work for a non profit that helps provide thanksgiving for families and went to pick up turkeys. Not seeing any signs on limit, I picked up 4. I went to go into a regular line but noticed the lines were pretty full and I only had 6 items so I went to self checkout. The woman at self checkout treated me like I was intentionally trying to pull something over on them. Mind you, I was asking questions because I genuinely didn’t know. She ripped 2 turkeys out of my carriage after asking if I could do two separate transactions. I understand following a policy in place, but there is a way to go about it without treating customers the way she did. It was just shocking especially just coming from Big Y down the street where every employee I came into contact with (at least 4) was extremely kind and helpful. Very disappointed with my experience at this location."

"Not my usual Stop and Shop but right on my way. Big, clean and very well stocked. Got everything on my list and most items were produce... very fresh"

"It’s gone down terribly. Yesterday one register with a line so went to self checkout Couldn’t proceed with order had to get an assistant. Terrible technology. Big Y down the street has excellent self checkout …. much better and it’s a better overall store. I go to SS for certain things but decided it’s not worth it. I won’t be returning and the staff is stale and indifferent also"

"This Stop & Shop is wayyy better than I’m use. I live in the upper south shore, Quincy/Weymouth and this Stop n Shop is incredible in comparison. Not only is it clean and well organized but it has an abundance of healthy options in the freezer and pantry aisles that you don’t see at most stop and shops. Also the produce is above par in comparison. I rarely buy produce at Stop n Shop at my local stores because it is always horrible; old and damaged. I actually cut back on going to stop n shop altogether and switched to Shaw’s in addition to regular Whole Foods shopping bc of that reason and that S&S is more expensive in comparison. Also a side bonus is that the staff were really friendly, I had conversations with 3 of them separately in the last 10 min of shopping trip. They even have board games which I was browsing seeing as those are on my list of gifts to get for people for Christmas. I will most definitely be back! Good job Kingston Stop n Shop! Keep up the good work!"
