"Although I have been bringing my dog to this Vet for 2 years (with their dog health plan), when I called recently with an emergency situation, I was told they don’t handle these. They only do preventative care. They actually said they would give a heart worm preventative shot that was scheduled and I could make an appointment which was two weeks out. I told them to change their name to ‘We don’t care’ hospital."

"I went here for years and only had good experiences. Dr. Baer clearly loves animals. He was always upfront about my options and wanted to avoid unnecessary tests so there was no overcharging. The clinic was always able to fit me in when I needed to come in quickly. I also didn't realize until I moved away that other vets can take a lot longer to give you test results. This hospital has a blood testing machine, so if you need blood work you are given the option to wait in the exam room for 20 minutes to hear the results or to get a call from the veterinarian in 20 minutes - that's amazing. The turnaround time at other hospitals can be days since they have to send the blood off to another lab for testing. Just wanted to mention this because it's quite a nice perk. I liked the convenience of having a pet store inside the hospital. The only thing I didn't like is that the checkout process took a while. They did not have enough computers and employees for all the people wanting to check out of the hospital and buy pet supplies. It's possible this has gotten better since the time I was there and it was never an important issue to me anyway - I enjoyed chatting to the ladies there. Everyone is very kind."
