"Okay so this place isn’t for everyone. Don’t book it if you need a big room, seriously don’t book anything in New England outside of a Hilton if you need space to do a full acrobatics routine (maybe New England isn’t for you?). Tiny rooms but who is spending their hard earned summer vacation in a hotel room? Tho small the rooms were sufficient for our needs. The location is amazing. Walk straight from the ferry to the spot which is just a block from all the shopping and eats in VH. There’s a lovely deck to grab some sun or catch a view of the harbor. The staff is beyond helpful! This is a charming little gem that looks like a “motel” but feels like something more special."

"First off, the customer service is aweful. We had walked in and it was nothing like we expected it says resort on expidia and DEFINITELY NOT A RESORT. Paint was chipped and ac units were VERY OLD AND DISGUSTING. The lady working the front desk told us our room was not ready but we wanted to check out a room to see if we even wanted to stay there and she unlocked a the room door and a man was in there SHE WALKED IN ON A DUDE Absolutely unsafe. Then we asked for our money back and she said yes you may. We get on the phone with the front desk girls manager and she is screaming at my mom saying she needed to calm down let take into consideration that my mom was VERY CALM. Sandra (front desk girls manager) was very mean to my mom and her customers not only did we want our money back there were 3 other family’s with issues. Like ants in their room. Sandra said that we could not get a refund and refused service to us. We finally just left and got a new hotel in Edgar town. I definitely recommend staying in Edgar town over vineyard haven. DONT STAY HERE"

"Stayed here for a quick 24 hour trip to MV. The rooms are clean and the website gives an accurate depiction of what you are paying for. Nothing fancy, but it was excellent value for what my husband and I were looking for. Most importantly, Sandra’s service is exceptional. She accommodated my early check-in request and even carried my bags to my room as she knew I was pregnant. Thank you Sandra! If we are back on the island we hope to see you again."

"The room was extremely clean, the staff was welcoming and the location is great. Can’t give it 5 stars because the toilet is between the sink and tub. It is so tight and uncomfortable I hardly wanted to use the bathroom in my $200/night room. The beds were ok, but the cot we needed was sunken in the middle and extremely uncomfortable. For $25/night, that was pretty annoying. Because of these reasons, we would not stay here again unfortunately."

"We stayed here as a timeshare exchange for a week. Absolutely worst timeshare anywhere. Location is convenient to downtown but very noisy. Every 30 minutes or so we could enjoy the ferry horn blasting. They only exchange towels every 3 days and won't provide more. The whole place has a cramped, musty dorm-like feel. Our room only had black-out curtains, no extra layer that allowed light while maintaining privacy. So, if you want privacy you're 100% in the dark. Front desk isn't staffed regularly and closed more often than not. Perhaps worst of all there are no laundry facilities whatever. We were told that the only laundry was in the next town! Really??? We're here for 7 nights and no laundry at all> Worse than the worst budget motel. Avoid at all costs."
