"This home is absolutely incredible. My family and I own several Inn’s and this home really impressed us. It is so hard to find a spacious vacation home on the Vineyard and more so right in Vineyard Haven. The furnishings and amenities were especially impressive including the beds, kitchen equipment, linens, etc. The hosts are also incredibly pleasant and available. We cannot wait to stay here again!!"

"I don't even know where to start when it comes to Dexter! We picked this place as the main house for gathering of guests for my brother's wedding, in addition to 15-16 ppl actually living there during the stay. The house is GORGEOUS! It is a 19th century mansion, with all the modern amenities & period decor. It is HUGE! We kept getting lost for a couple of days :). There is a stone patio accessed from the dining room thru large French Doors AND a quaint backyard. We were able to host a couple of brunches and a rehearsal dinner, and all the guests were in awe of how beautiful everything was. The patio easily fit 50 ppl [we rented ~7 folding tables, and put them side by side to form a long narrow seating arrangement] - it felt like we were in Italy, enjoying a backyard dinner at a vineyard. All this, while being literally the 1st house on Main street - Vineyard Haven's downtown - you are walking distance to the ferry, stop&shop and all the local restaurants/bars/ice cream parlors. There is plenty of parking, which is a luxury when you are right in town. And I have to shout out to Alex, the owner. She is the most gracious host - not only did she appease all of our [not so easy] requests, she also helped me with the wedding planning. I cannot say enough about how grateful we are for Dexter and the role it played in my brother's wedding."
