"The Mari Anne motel was Fantastic. Room was clean with everything needed. Gary the Manager was very nice and called me back almost immediately with a ready room. I would stay here again. Did I mention it’s right on Hampton Beach!"

"We had a great and very fun stay at the Mari-Anne hotel this August. It is very close to the beach however, it is a bit far to the stage where things are happening at night (about 15 walking minutes). Gary the manager told us he upgraded us when we checked in. However honestly, we didn’t notice the upgrade (to a queen bed?). The bed was quite small but we slept very well. It is a comfortable bed. There is a refrigerator in the room and everything seemed clean.There is a barbecue in the yard which everyone can use and we used it every night and some comfy chairs, and the facility has a peaceful vibe and feels off the beaten track. The rooms are quite small. Reduced star rating is only due to the room size, and the manager is a bit of a diva and developed an attitude when we asked him more than one things at once (so I’d suggest you don’t stress him out). However, he will help out with anything you ask him- he also gave us extra towels when we checked in which was super nice and went out of his way when we had some small issues. We will definitely stay there again!! One more important thing is that parking is no problem at this place, whereas at most other motels they would limit the parking space and you cannot even move your car. Great plus!!!"

"This was our second year in a row staying at this motel. We absolutely loved the atmosphere, location, and price. The owner Gary is such a kind and funny person. There is a big front lawn area that has multiple outdoor couches and chairs, corn hole, a grill for guests to use, and beautiful flowers everywhere. It is directly next to the state park beach, which is not on the main strip, it is the one you have to pay a few dollars to park to the right of the main beach. But since you will be parked at the motel you don’t have to pay anything to go there. I like this because at the state park one only you are allowed to bring a grill and have a contained fire, where at the regular beach you are not allowed to do this. It is also only 5 minute walk to the main Hampton beach strip and all of the shops. It really is an excellent location. All of that being said, you do have to remember that it is a motel. There is nothing special about the rooms at all. But they are clean. And for us, a laid back couple that barely spent any time in the room anyways, we just needed somewhere to sleep at night. It has a mini fridge, a microwave, a tv, and an air conditioner. So although the rooms are small and are nothing special, I am still happily giving 5 stars and am excited to come back next year due to the great community atmosphere and the owner Gary being a kind, funny, and helpful person. I highly recommend this location and we will be coming back for years to come"
