"Wanted to buy one chinchilla but was forced to buy two if any, I did plenty of research and know many people who housed one and made sure it was socialized, they are not an animal that HAS TO be in pairs but petsmart forced such, various research shows that as long as someone who is home often and present is willing to socialize it (which we are) I’m a SAHM and my husband only works 4 days a week they can do just fine alone."
