"This place is in need of a major overhaul. The smoke detector was not attached to the wall, there was no drain cover in the since, the shower felt like it was coving in, and it was just generally not a clean feeling hotel. Other nearby residents inns are significantly nicer and cost much less, but this location worked better for us…. In hindsight we wish we stayed farther away for a nicer place."
"Rooms are spacious and has a full Kitchen however they need to be renovated bad. Mattress was garbage and sagged in the middle. Shower shelf was broken and barely hangin on and the removable shower head just hung on the hose. The room was not cleaned very well ie crumbs on the floor and sofa, hair in the shower and rusty bath fixtures. Kids running up and down the hall all evening. Hotel smelled terrible like it was an old dirty restaurant. Only time I ever saw anyone at the front desk is when I checked out. I waited for 15 minutes at check in then just did it on the app. Went down 4 times to get a key card and no one around. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere when you are in the area. I will not be back."
"First off, my compliments to Noah at the front desk. He was incredibly kind on my arrival and departure, but was also super helpful during a few other touchpoint during my stay. Could easily be working at a Ritz Carlton with his customer service skills. The hotel itself is tired. Floors pop & creak, fireplace in the room didn’t work, and I had (ironically) two issues with doors. My first room door didn’t lock and my second room’s door wouldn’t unlock — with me stuck in the room! Thankfully they got me out. All in all it had a hot shower, cold fridge, comfy bed, and close proximity to where I needed to be… all you really need in a hotel room. And as mentioned, the service was great. Thanks again, Noah & team!"
"Stayed for one night with the family. It was pricey in my opinion. The room could use some updates, such as the tub had some cracks and the cabinets but overall the location and stay was just what we needed. Many restaurants nearby, and gas stations. Norwood has a lot to offer and the surrounding towns/cities as well. The proximity to Boston. Breakfast was a buffet style with eggs, bagels, waffle and oatmeal station, potatoes, muffins. They alternate between days for pork or turkey sausages. The employees were all friendly. Would stay again if in the area."
"Shocked this is a Marriott. Stayed for 3 nights and finally made the decision to find a new hotel on night 4. The halls and room smelled absolutely terrible. It’s an odor that hits you as soon as you walk in and you swallow it. The carpets at movie theaters are cleaner than at this hotel. Smells like a pungent cups of beef noodles and armpits. The lady at the front desk was completely in a different world. Really nice but was bizarre. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at … and I’ve stayed at hostels in Costa Rica."
