"We had our wedding here on 8/27/23 and it was nothing but gorgeous. The staff was amazing and welcoming. Our Coordinator there, Elaine was Amazing, She made us feel so welcome and like family to her, She organized and coordinated everything so well with our vendors. Elaine worked with our timeline and was very supportive through the entire process!"

"Visited for a girls night getaway. Used the shuttle bus they offered instead of driving into town- driver was great didn't catch his name, gave recommendations for food and things to do and even gave us history lesson as he dropped us at our destination. Used the pool which was nice and loved how spacious the rooms were- for 3 girls it was perfect. Already planning to come back next year!"

"Recently stayed here for a celebratory event. Room was lovely. Nice and clean, quiet, comfy bed and great bathroom. In-room coffee/tea maker with some bottled water provided. Our view, out the back, was”meh” - but the location is great. Easy to find and plenty of parking. The function room was terrific - large, clean, nicely lit - and the food served was outstanding! A great buffet with a large and varied salad bar, pasta station, fresh baked rolls (tasted totally scratch made!), a roast beef and Turkey carving station with yummy sides, and a great petite dessert table. One of the best catered meals we have had! And the front desk personnel could not have been nicer! We are already thinking about a future trip back there to explore the rich surroundings further."

"We hosted our wedding at the Wyndham and had a hotel block for family and friends as well. Our event planner, Chelsea, and the whole event staff was wonderful. The food was incredible, all guests went home full and praising the food and drinks, the biggest hit was the clam chowder shooters with the mini clam cakes. We did the winter wedding package and were very satisfied with the pricing for Newport, experience and quality. The event staff was super friendly and accommodating as well. Everything exceeded our expectations and the rooms were clean and spacious as well. We highly recommend The Wyndham Newport Hotel as both a wedding venue and hotel accommodation for your next stay in Newport. They have a complimentary shuttle service for guests to downtown Newport as well. Definitely a hidden gem and great value. For vendors we used - Cherry Hill Flowers, Ramu and the Crew (DJ), Polar Square Design (Photography) and Silver Spoon Bakery (cake and dessert table)."

"The location is in a beautiful, convenient area! The staff was AMAZING and the bridal suite is so beautiful. Allison was amazing at the front desk! Gave us all the information and upgraded our room to be nice. The room smelled so good and clean - and was clean!! The bed was extremely comfortable & staff was so nice. Could not recommend a stay here more. Just such a beautiful hotel."
