"My friend and I spent a weekend in the Berkshires this summer. The Red Door B&B was the perfect place for us; not only did we enjoy the comforts of a clean and well-appointed room, a delicious and wholesome organic breakfast in a peaceful setting walking distance from downtown Lee and a short driving distance to Tanglewood, but we were so warmly hosted by Sue and Al. They were gracious and generous hosts who offered delightful conversation and helpful tips for activities during our stay. Thanks to them, we had a memorable experience that we plan to repeat, and when we do, we’ll make sure to stay at The Red Door."

"My boyfriend and I stayed here two nights to do some light hiking in the area and see a BSO concert at Tanglewood and this place was perfect. The couple who live here are incredibly nice and have really taken care into having a good setup for folks staying the night. The room we had was clean and nicely furnished, they had small toiletries and a nice bathroom, and it was very quite at night which was great for sleeping. They made a lovely breakfast in the morning (also very considerate of food allergies!) and were very helpful if you needed good tips on driving to/from Tanglewood or the local places to hike. This place is also in very close walking distance to the downtown area of Lee which was nice for grabbing dinner the night we arrived. The next time I go to Tanglewood I will absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!"

"My husband and I stayed here while in town for a wedding and also to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. Our stay exceeded our expectations in every way! Susan and Al were always pleasant, accommodating and helpful by providing solid recommendations for the area. Breakfasts were delicious - omelettes, farm fresh fruit, blue berry pancakes, bacon and sausage. My husband and I will surely stay here again and recommend to all visiting the Berkshires! "As in all other reviews for The Red Door Inn, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and Sue and Al are the consummate hosts. A beautiful breakfast and never a lull in the conversation. Plus we were never more than seven miles from anything we wanted to do -- Edith Wharton's home, Norman Rockwell Museum, kayaking on Stockbridge Bowl, hiking up The Ledges Trail in Pleasant Valley Sanctuary, or walking down the street to the wonderful Chez Nous restaurant. Perfect."

"My wife and I recently stayed at the Red Door B&B, and we had a great experience. Our hosts, Susan and Al, were accommodating, friendly, and considerate. We booked the Spring Room, which was clean and comfortable. From the Red Door, we could walk to Main Street and enjoy the restaurants. We had a full weekend-- but Red Door's location made the Norman Rockwell Museum, Tanglewood, Mt. Greylock, and a couple craft breweries easily accessible. The truest test of the quality of our stay is simple: we plan to return! The best B&B experience we've had in years."
