"Spent a few days in the Berkshires and stayed at the best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at. We can honestly say we have found a new home away from home. The Devonfield Inn is an absolute gem. Every room is meticulously decorated, clean, and comfortable. The grounds are fantastic and the breakfast is fantastic. Doug and Jim are great hosts, but more importantly they are fantastic people. Thank you!"

"Such a wonderful stay! Beautiful inn and grounds. Doug and Jim were so personable and welcomed my husband, dog and I. Breakfast was super delicious and served with a smile- my biggest pet peeve is when butter is served cold (this happens 95% of the time) but the butter was served at a spreadable temperature! We will definitely be back."

"My wife and I spent two nights at the inn and it couldn't have been a better trip. Doug and Jim were wonderful hosts, and were very attentive to our needs during the stay. They took the time to understand the purpose of our trip and gave us great recommendations for things to do in the area. The inn itself is a great place to find peace and rest and anything you need with great attention to detail. The communication in the lead up to our stay and the booking of the trip were on point as well. It's close to anything that you might need, but far enough away to feel like you are truly away from things. We plan on returning in near future for sure!"

"My husband and I spent the Christmas Holiday at Devonfield Inn; it was our third stay and will definitely not be our last. Doug and Jim are both hospitable and go above and beyond exceptional service. From check-in to check-out, we were always satisfied. We began our holiday experience with a tour of the Inn's Holiday decor with Doug, followed by a holiday happy hour featuring wine, cheese, a live piano performance, and Christmas tunes sung by Doug, Jim, and the guests. The gourmet breakfast Jim prepared for us each morning was one of the many highlights of our trip. Prepare yourself; a sweet or savory breakfast feast always follows a delicious cake starter. The waistline may be unhappy, but the tastebuds will be thrilled. Another highlight is Doug's loop and favorite hike; there is much to enjoy! Thank You, Doug and Jim, for making this a memorable Christmas for Barry and me."

"I have never stayed in a place that makes you feel like family. Doug and Jim not only welcome Maria and I but our dog Dakota. Always a warm welcome. The breakfast included is to die for. Sweet or Savory. Jim’s breakfast cakes or muffins melt in your mouth, so soft and tasty. A walk in the back yard after breakfast is like a field trip close to home. Dakota loves it but what she loves more is a brisk run chasing a ball on the 34 acres of land in the backyard. We make plans to come here at least once a year.
