"I’m a customer from Canada and was ready to buy a lot of tree bolts for my treehouse project. After taking advantage of the free virtual meeting / consultation, the staff advised me that my trees were too small and I needed to modify my plan so that my treehouse would be safe. This resulted in a substantial order being cancelled so I am very grateful to the staff for their honesty. I will likely be shopping here again for accessories once my project gets to that stage. I also recommend the book “Backyard Treehouses” by the same owner (I think!) Honest, reliable and knowledgeable company!!"

"This is a dishonest company. I was seeking grab handles for the treehouse that I recently built. I found what I was looking for on the their website, and the listing stated "sold in pairs." Then the company sent me one handle. When I asked them to correct their mistake, they claimed that the listing was clearly only for one handle, although they also admitted that the listing had errors in it. No matter what I said to them, they refused to explain to me how "sold in pairs" was supposed to mean that I was only ordering one handle. They refused to send me the 2nd handle (that I had already ordered and paid for) unless I paid for the handle again. I noticed that they have changed the listing for the handle as of 1/3/23, but when I ordered the handles it was quite clear that the price was for a pair of handles. The company admits that they made a mistake on their website, but then they act like that is my fault, and they won't send me the product that I have already paid for. Update: In their reply to my review, this company repeats the same lies. What does "sold in pairs" mean? It means that for the price listed, you get two of the item, otherwise known as a "pair." If the listing says "each" and "sold in pairs" that means that the price listed is for each pair. Again I ask, why is your mistake in your listing my fault?"

"Absolutely amazing! Fun for hours for the kids. Definitely planning to come back again. A really great connection with nature and the kids can run around freely, is a little pricey for the zip lines but definitely worth it for hours of fun."

Hugo has been a super responsive and supportive partner throughout the journey, answering questions large and small, and helping me make wise design decisions and sensible purchases. Their prices really are reasonable compared to other options I've researched. It sounds kind of crazy, but I'm not even done with my treehouse yet, and I'm already thinking about how much fun it would be to build a second one! :-)"

"I had really excellent support from Hugo on the design/CAD side of things. I've yet to begin the project installation but I'm sure that the layouts provided will keep me on track. I'm a bit sticker-shocked by the price of the hardware but I am hopeful that they will carry the weight of the project and last for a good long time."
