Pat's King of Steaks

"If you are in Philadelphia, Pat's is an iconic place to try a Philly cheese steak. A traditional cheese steak "wit" or "witout" onions will cost you about $15. I was only in Philly for a short visit, but I made a point to visit this place since I had heard so much about it from different TV shows. The staff were friendly and the service was super quick. In terms of the actual sandwich itself, it was cooked fresh to order. The bread was fresh and the portion size was generous. If I was a local, I'm not sure I would go here on a regular basis, but if you are a tourist, this is an iconic place in Philadelphia and well worth the visit."

"Pat’s is always my goto whenever I’m in town. The originality and iconic look. Although the cost has surely gone up. I just can’t resist the taste with them cherry peppers. They don’t leave the peppers out anymore so you’ll have to ask for them at the drink window to the left. The service is always the classic Philly attitude. Doesn’t bother me much but the wife didn’t like it so."

"The cheesesteak was natural,tender and delicious. I took a bite from my son’s mushrooms steak sandwich, he loved it. My mom as well, she ordered the provolone steak sandwich. It’s not the first time we ate here.Service is fast,a bit pricey,but beef also."

"Did a little cheesesteak challenge one sunny afternoon recently and was pleasantly surprised with stop # 1 on my journey. I understand that there are other more popular steak options in the area but Pat's stood out to me. Nice bread, ample meat and excellent cheese all put together was a success in my stomach! Their rival across the street, although also tasty, couldn't hold up to the big P. Will be back.."
