"My sis loves the popover from here so I decided to bring her here to celebrate her birthday. Our waiter Sam was amazing. He was so friendly and attentive. We came to a steakhouse but we did not order steak. We wanted seafood so we got the crab cakes and scallops for appetizers. Then for our entree we went with the Chilean sea bass. And for dessert we went with the banana pudding crème brûlée. That scallop was cooked perfectly and the size of it was definitely worth the money. This was only my 2nd time here and I will definitely be coming back soon to celebrate my husband birthday since he loves scallops. The only down side of it was looking for parking was quite a challenge even on a Thursday night we had trouble finding parking. There is a parking lot around the corner inside a small street. So that’s an option in case for those who can’t find parking"

"We had an absolutely marvelous experience at Barclay Prime. We were warmly greeted at the door by the hostess and we were immediately escorted to our table. The ambiance is very dark academia and I love it. The dining room is very spacious and is one of the few restaurants that aren't trying to maximize occupancy by making their diners sit practically on top of one another. We had enough room to actually take up some space to enjoy our meal and that made the experience more enjoyable. We were expecting dinner to be over $200 going in. We had caviar and a bottle of wine in addition to our entree and the bill was more reasonable than initially expected. If you are looking for an upscale setting with relaxed vibes and superior cuisine then look no further."

"My husband and I were visiting Philadelphia and came here last night. We were lucky to be taken care of by the youngest waiter member of Barclay Prime with only 19 years of service and experience. He guided us and took care of us seamlessly. His professional and charismatic personality are his greatest strength. Talking about “ the” food it is very hard to describe with words. From the beginning (chopped salad) to the end (banana crème brûlée) everything was outstandingly delicious. However, I feel the need to mention my favorite dishes and those were the heirloom carrots and the special candy shape pasta with truffle. The steak was obviously the reason why we came here and there are not doubts it was cooked and seasoned at perfection. Thank you all for an amazing dinner experience and great atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back here again!"

"Barclay Prime is one of the most spectacular establishments that we have ever dined at. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, so much so that you forget it is primarily a steakhouse, we loved the seats, which were very memorable! As far as the food goes, it was amazing, and the service was 5 stars as to be expected. We couldn't recommend Barclay Prime highly enough. This is a special place to dine at. It is one of the best steakhouses and most beautiful restaurants in the US."
