"Dr Himelstein is a caring and thorough doctor. The only issue I have is the fact that you can't get through when you call. I have Multiple Sclerosis. From day to day I don't know how I'm going to feel. Changes in the barometric pressure can cause severe pain in my legs. The medication for the pain makes me very groggy and I have difficulty walking in that state. I had to cancel my last appt and Dr Himelstein had to reschedule one of the appts. I had blood work done and although I didn't see him, my primary doctor gave me the results. I didn't know whether Dr Himelstein needed to reschedule the appt or not. I called the office 3x and a month later I have yet to hear from his office. It is impossible to get through on the telephone and if you leave a message your call is not returned. Sorry to say, I think it may be time for me to look for another hematologist. Edit: I received a call from Dr Himelstein's office and I was able to get an appt. Dr Himelstein was as thorough as usual and ordered blood work. I will remain with his office."
