"I went to this obgyn because I’m starting my fertility journey. The doctor judged me the whole time while talking about having a family then told me I as too skinny to get pregnant. Did not provide me any advice and order any testing to give me reassurance that she acknowledged the reason for my visit. Very upset with there notification system as well. Should be receiving reminders through email or text day before."
"The reception was incredibly rude during my visit. I had a scheduled appointment, but upon arriving, I was informed that the doctor had an emergency and would not be available. Surprisingly, I never received a courtesy call notifying me of the cancellation, despite the significant effort I put into arranging time off work, driving for almost one and half hours, and enduring a two-month wait for the appointment. When I presented the front desk the confirmation message for my scheduled visit, the reception lady dismissively stated that my appointment had been cancelled without providing any notification or explanation. There are no apology extended, and the overall interaction was extremely discourteous. The entire burden of the situation was unfairly placed on me. This has been the most disappointing and frustrating experience I have encountered."
"I’ve had only positive experiences with most doctors, Ive only ever had one really negative experience that made me not want to come back. Most of the front staff is fine, the only issue i have consistently is that i have to track down my test results. If i don’t call asking about my results, they will not call me for at least a week. Which is very annoying especially when it’s a blood test that i was told should have results within 24 hours."
"My interactions with this office left a bad enough taste in my mouth that I switched practices before I even stepped in the door. The short version: Despite me telling them about complications I was having with my pregnancy, Union repeatedly refused to see me, showing me crystal clear that they did not care about my health or my baby’s health. But there are other practices that actually do care and will make space and time for you. And if you’re trying to transfer to Union from another practice, do not bother. They make it impossible. The longer version: After going through a pregnancy loss, I called Union to cancel two upcoming prenatal appointments. When asked for my reason for canceling, I told them I had miscarried. And yet they continued to send me text reminders about one of the appointments—a canceled appointment for a baby I had lost. That’s just plain disorganization that resulted in extremely insensitive and unwelcome reminders of my miscarriage. Once I got pregnant again, I had some early pregnancy bleeding. Union flat out refused to see me before 8 weeks, despite me reminding them of my history of miscarriage. So I sought early pregnancy care at Advanced Women’s Health (who saw me right away). After that, I still tried to switch to Union because Advanced Women’s Health will only see you through 12 weeks. But because I had “established care” with AWH, Union refused to schedule an appointment for me until it had been four weeks since I’d been seen there. So if I had more bleeding before that four week mark, which I did, Union wouldn’t let me in the door. They’d give me no option other than to go back to AWH, and then push my appointment back another four weeks. This happened a couple times. Finally, I ended up in the emergency room for bleeding, was diagnosed with a subchorionic hemorrhage, and was told by the ER Doctor that I needed to follow up with an OB. Even then, Union refused me care, citing that four-week policy. After that, it became clear to me that they really didn’t care about my health or my baby’s health, and I sought to be cared for elsewhere. The practice I switched to (Women Living Well) brought me in ASAP. They’ve been great. Union never let me in the door so I could know how their office and providers actually are. But after the complete disregard they showed me, I didn’t really want to find out."
"Terrible experience with them during my pregnancy. Front desk is rude and the nurses are terrible. The nurses tend to do what they want and not follow drs order. Dr. Ordered a test and the first time it took the nurse 10 days to send over the procedure order , for something that was deemed urgent. The second time she refused all together to proceed with sending the order to the hospital. Dr said one thing, nurse said another and front desk said something else. They have me on rotating drs but when one is on vacation no one else takes over. I had to wait 3 weeks to get the results of an ultrasound because the doctor who ordered it was on vacation and no one was available to review the results and provide feedback. During check ups something strange came up and there was not one dr who was available to review the test, they wouldn’t even come out to talk to me, left everything to the nurse practitioner even though she went out a couple of times to get a doctor to come take a look at it. There seems to be a gap in communication between the nurse practitioner, the nurses, the front desk and the patients. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this practice. I would shop around. I am not expecting to be babysat or treated like I am special, but I would expect for the right information to be provided at the right time but the right personnel. If I could give a zero I would. I m only giving a 1 because of one nurse practitioner who is diligent, the rest I am not so sure"
