"By far one of my BEST Omakase experiences I’ve ever had. The 18 pieces Omakase was so fresh and high quality and the service was amazing. During our dining experience, We were introduced to the Head Chef, the assistant staff began to prep and plate each individual course for all 12 guests. Each dish was described and appeared as a work of art! The freshness n texture was completely satisfying. We were comfortably seated for our food tasting courses around a large “L” shaped bar with a nice selection of all types of sake, wine and beer. You must try this restaurant, Why travel to the city when you have the best Omakase here on Long Island at Sora Omakase. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!"

"Great news! Omakase has opened in Central Long Island in Stony Brook called "Sora". Usually not common to find authentic Omakase restaurants unless you traveled to Manhattan or Queens, NYC. Recently visited Sora Omakase in which I had to make advance reservations due to limited seatings about 12ppl @ two daily private times! On our arrival we were greeted by the Host and brought to our seats gathered with other guest and plenty of space for your dining privacy. The Chef Osan, was introduced along with his staff and they began our full experience 18 course Omakase course which was various original fresh Japanese Seafood ingredients prepared in front of our eyes. Everything was delicious and fore filling, by the 8th course I was completely satisfied! Along with the courses there are beverages you can order; wine, beer & sake which you are given a private dispenser to keep your beverage chilled during meal. I highly recommend Sora Omakase and is certainly one of the best Japanese tasting. Just remember to make advance reservations for that special occasion."
