"Continue thru the yellow posts at end of road to a small parking spot even though the sign says pedestrian access only. Nice , easy hike thru the woods. Be sure to stay on the path."

"An easy trail, perfect for runners, walkers and pet owners. Our dog loved being in the open air. Both times we encountered deer very close to our proximity. A little bit aggravating for our pup, and definitely a good thing she was on a leash. The view from the observation post was definitely worth the walk! Lots of life in those moving marshes"

"A pleasant experience. The initial part of the trail was kind of boring and was near a residential area but then it moved into a natural location with marshes and water. We saw a variety of birds and crabs. It's perfect for a short, easy hike."

"Easy access, very accessible, can even get a wheelchair through the trail if needed. The path is well maintained. A nice marsh view, a few small woodland ponds, and variety of forest along the short 0.7 miles out. The platform at the end is good and solid, well maintained too. There's only the 1 main outlook at the end but it's a nice out and back."

"Nicely kept. Blocked off where you would walk to the island. Significant erosion of the trail if you go beyond the barrier. Grasses are high, land becomes very wet and marshy. But the usable trail is very nice."
