"Well it’s been about a week and my throat is finally starting to go back to normal. The amount of black mold covering the ceiling was unreal. We didn’t notice it until the second night we were there. We were wondering why we we waking up with sore throats and congested. It’s sad because other than that everything was great. The location couldn’t have been better, the woman at the front desk was fantastic. My key stopped working and I received a new one immediately and there was no disruption from other rooms. Everything was clean. Our refrigerator didn’t work which was a bit disappointing."

"For the price and location I could give this 5 stars. Bed's were clean and very comfortable. Location was good for Rehoboth and Lewes. Frequently used room surfaces were definitely cleaned. But the overall room was a bit dingy and in need of update. Perhaps appropriate for the price in this expensive area. I'm any case I'd definitely stay here again if I came back to the area."

"This place is disgusting!! They put me in a room with a urine soiled bed. The bathrooms had mold and rust in it. Someone else’s soap was left in my bathroom. They changed me to a second room after the maintenance man agreed that the bed strongly smelled of urine. Even the second room was dirty with someones opened can of soda in my fridge. They still charged me for a room rate with a jacuzzi and king bed, when they in fact downgraded my room to a basic double queen room. I will never return to this place again! even the elevators smelled badly of urine. Just disgusting!"

"First, I will say we would stay here again. There are pros and cons. Cons: Though the room was clean, there was nothing on the walls for decor, and ours could've used a coat of paint. The faucet in the shower was fickle in that one tiny turn in either direction gets you very hot or cold water. Pros: This hotel is located back from the busy highway, due to the nearby Cracker Barrel restaurant, resulting in a peaceful environment to come back to. We had a room with a king and a queen(or was it full? Not sure) bed room, which included a balcony overlooking part of the parking lot but also, pleasantly, trees.The balcony was nice for morning coffee, but if you enjoy a drink on the balcony in the evening, it is not dark(!). Very bright out there, but it is probably for safety. The pool was a nice size; well maintained. We brought our own breakfast so no commentary on the hotel breakfast, although it includes a pretty lovely, shaded outdoor seating area. If you like a morning run or walk, right behind this hotel is a shaded residential area, which was a fantastic added benefit, to be able to run in a safe, shaded area well set back from the coastal highway. Staff was super. Hope this helps make your decision. We enjoyed our stay."

"We stayed at the Econo Lodge Rehoboth, DE 7/27-7/30. The hotel was dirty and it smelled. The WiFi did not work, the knob to adjust the water temperature spun around freely and we had to find just the right spot to be able to adjust the temperature. The water was either scalding hot or cold, no in between and it would fluctuate while using it. There was a leak from the upstairs room every time they showered. All hallway doors and entry points through out the hotel had keycard access and not one was working. We informed staff daily, at least twice each day of the issues and they never addressed the problems. The manager was never available and never returned phone calls. We only stayed because it was the only room available in the entire area and my son had a baseball tournament. I did contact corporate. Never again."
