Reviews
"I have not shopped at this store. That is why I chose a 3 star review. An owner would want to sell as many dresses as possible ? These few kids (an 18 is a kid in my oponion) saying she was racist. Doubt it ! If you say your budget is $300 then thank her for luk it was more than your budget. Also I can agree with the parent must be present policy. Playing dress up with expensive gowns, ummm no."
"I had a very nice experience when I came here to shop for a gown. My friend and I were walk-ins, so I thought it was very nice that Maria the owner gave us such great service even though we didn’t have an appointment. We didn’t end up finding “the dress” but she had a nice selection of various evening gowns and had catalogs that you could look through to order dresses if you wanted."
"Very unprofessional and Racist me my mother and sister went there to find my prom dress and as soon as we entered no one greeted us or made eye contact until someone came up to us and my mom was not having it. I told her my budget was $300 and when I found an alternative dress that was above it she made it a big deal stating to my mother it's over my budget and my mother said repetitively she doesn't mind paying the extra. when we paid the down payment they told us the dress will be shipped Tuesday but mind you they never called until I had to go back in and see if the dress matched the shoes I got then that's when they bring out the dress stating it was brand new but that was the same exact dress that was used all I can say is I am glad my mother was there because I didn't realize until she pointed it out to the lady moral of the story is do not waste your time and money here especially if you are black because they are highly racist, rude, and unprofessional."
"The shop owner was very nice and professional but the seamstress Mira was horrible. Attitude when u call for the alterations is unprofessional. Like ur bothering her and on top of that the day she told me my daughters dress would be ready it wasn’t.. Would recommend if u get ur dress from there get a different seamstress for alterations period..."
"Dress Nazi! Rude! The owner, Maria, doesn't understand the simple concept of customer service. I asked if a particular alteration could be made, she replied she wouldn't do it. When I reminded her that it was my wedding dress and not hers, she walked away from me. She replied she was only giving me her opinion after I asked her. I tried to point out to her that the only opinion she should give is whether or not something COULD be done - not whether it SHOULD be done. Big difference. I went to the store the next day to get my dress and cancel my appointment. She asked why. I told her she was rude and I didn't want to do business with her anymore. She argued with me again (she thought I was rude to her) and screamed at me as I walked out the door. She is overly opinionated, argumentative and rude. I had to remind her that I spent hundreds of dollars in her store and deserved better treatment. She told me not to tell her how to run her business! Shop there at your own risk."
