Sosuite at French Quarters, Rittenhouse Square

"Great room, but not worth the terrible service. Room: 4/5. Fantastic room with a full kitchen, a bathroom, and laundry. Floor a little dirty, as well as some surfaces with oily fingerprints on them. Service: 1/5. First, I couldn’t enter the building, as my code wouldn’t work. Then they told me the room I booked wasn’t available, so they had to move me 20 minutes walk away in another hotel. Fine. Halfway to the other one, they tell me they actually can let me stay in the room I booked, so I walk back. The new code the give me for the front door doesn’t work. It’s at this point I learn that I can just open the “locked” front door if I yank hard enough (which isn’t even that hard). Then I get to my room, which is still being cleaned by room service. Thats fine. My code doesn’t work for my room door. I had to use the room service code that I watched the staff member enter to get into my room. The room smelled like weed. They said they would send someone tomorrow to “assess the smell”. What will they say!? “Yep, that’s weed alright.” Anyway, they finally gave me a code that worked for my room, but the code still doesn’t work for the front door. No matter, since anybody can enter the building if they yank hard enough on the front door anyways. Next day I leave for work, making sure to lock the door behind me, because I had a suspicion the following would happen: when I returned from work at night, my room door was unlocked. The “weed smell assesser” must have forgotten to lock the door behind him, risking the theft of my belongings in my room all day. They have yet to explain or apologize for this. Location: 5/5. Fantastic location among shops, bars, and restaurants, with immediate access to Rittenhouse Square and City Hall area."

"***If you want a quiet stay, do not book here.*** The apartment we stayed in is lovely, good space and nicely furnished, good a/c, well equipped little kitchen etc. Unfortunately the only window in the apartment looked onto the garden bar next door, which is very noisy all day, non stop until midnight. Sports, music, cheering and shouting etc. We had a quiet eve in after 2 weeks travelling the states and had to turn the TV up uncomfortably loud just to drown out the non stop din from outside. Honestly, unless you're going out every night, it's pretty awful. Thank goodness the bedroom was away from the windows so we could block it out with a white noise machine when sleeping. Imagine if you had light sleeping kids it would be a nightmare to get them to bed. The owners need to stop taking any bookings for a fortnight, come in and triple glaze all the windows that overlook the bar. The apartment was lovely but there's not a chance in hell we'd stay again until the noise issue was fixed. Maybe it's better if you get an apartment on the other side of the building but it's a lottery. Do yourselves a favour and book a nice hotel room instead where you can ask to be moved if you get a noisy neighbor."

"Love love and love this aparthotel. The location is perfect. The room is clean and have all the amenities. Remember there is no personnel in the building but they have good communication to check inn and out. The only drawback are the elevator in building is too small and you have to walk a distance to look for a garage."

"Best experience at a hotel in a while. The place was clean, big, and filled with super useful amenities. I had some major check-in issues but they stayed on the phone with me until everything was resolved and were very helpful throughout my stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the Rittenhouse area"

"The apartment was located perfectly, close to amenities. Upon first look it appeared to be clean and tidy until I discovered cat hair everywhere!! I despise animal hair and so this really bothered me and made me quite uncomfortable to sit on the furniture. We swept up as best we could, to make ourselves more comfortable. Outside of that major cleaning issue, everything else was great."
