"My partner and I visited for restaurant week (01/27) and the experience was far below what we expected. To begin with, the service was very good and we have no complaints there. But we were seated in a very cramped corner seat with pillows, lack of elbow room, etc., that made it impossible to be comfortable, and the lighting was too dim for a restaurant - it's one thing if we're talking about a cocktail bar, but I (28 y/o, not blind) need to see to eat. We ordered both restaurant week cocktails, the escargot and crudo, one plate of the caccio e pepe pasta, the Rohan duck and the trout bouillabaisse, and finally the lemon tart and the chocolate mousse. Both cocktails were wide misses with very little flavor to the point of leaving us wondering if they were misprepared. The crudo had no flavor whatsoever and left us rather stunned at the poor execution. Both of the desserts were so-so, but I have to say the chocolate mousse came off very bland to me. The biggest issue of the night, however, was the trout bouillabaisse - this was the most poorly conceived dish that I've had in quite some time. The trout fillet was so thin as to be very difficult to cook without delivering something very dry (and it was very dry) but was also tasteless, it was served atop of a bouillabaisse on a flat plate. The flat plate ensures that you cannot eat the soup, and that the soup cannot flavor the trout. There were mixed vegetables and undercooked potatoes in the soup which added nothing in flavor and were difficult to chew. I'll note that the Rohan duck and the escargot were both memorable and good dishes. But for this experience, we paid $195. Earnestly, it felt like an evening that I wouldn't be getting back. I will not be returning and will not be recommending."
"We tried *Foie gras French onion soup with duck confit *Beet pickled deviled eggs *Pumkin black truffle beignets with apple butter miso aioli *Steamed mussels *Wagyu beef tartar *Ten day dry aged duck *dessert *cocktails Food was great except really overcooked dry aged duck but I will try it again next time. Atmosphere was good and food was great with well balanced seasoning. Our server was very nice and tried her best. The manager worked very professionally when our main course took too long after eating all other dishes and came out overcooked. It was a special night to celebrate a special day but it was not ruined because the manager even though I couldn’t eat their signature dish duck. He was very polite and gentle. I appreciate it. Everything was very tasty!"
"My husband and I dined here for our anniversary. The ambiance was spectacular—cozy, romantic, and relaxed. Service was exceptional. Logan was very knowledgeable about the menu, super helpful, and just very pleasant! The food was incredible. Comparable to cuisine we’ve had in Paris, for sure. Everything was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. Definitely added to our favorite restaurant list—we will for sure be back! Thank you for a great experience."
"Highly recommend this spot for a date night or even a solo experience. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable on the menu and suggested some items before I decided to do the tasting menu. FYI, the whole table have to elect the tasting menu. Plenty of food came out and everything on the menu I wanted to try was part of the tasting menu. I was taken aback by the music selection but I enjoyed it. Would recommend and would head back."
