"The food alone is 5 stars. It reminds me of a great halal food truck in Astoria, but better. Try their chicken tray, I used to get the lamb and chicken combo, but the chicken is delicious. My hubby and I treat ourselves to trays when we don't have time to cook or sit and eat somewhere, we have twins under 2 years old, so this place is awesome for takeout. Get the white sauce and both red and green if you're a spicy sauce aficionado, it gives latinx and Indian spiciness a run for their money. They should really open a Shahs in Greenwich, preferably downtown district. All locations [ I've been to all, including the norwalk one]are all the same: delicious food and speedy service, its perfect if you're on the go and want something fresh and different."

"This is not very complicated... I had a falafel in a pita, the bread was fresh, the salad ingredients were very fresh, but falafel that is supposed to be fluffy balls, here were solid dense pucks with little flavor. The pita sandwich itself was overloaded, may be a good thing, but did make it a huge mess to eat, the sandwich fell apart after 2-3 bites, and I ended up with hands covered in pretty tasty sauce... but without much joy. Forget about eating this on the go!"

"We always do a takeout here. Love the food. Fries and chicken nuggets are good too. Personal favorite is Chicken Chapli Kebab."

"Food is no doubts great but the atmosphere inside is not comfortable to eat in. Multiple visits during summer and it’s always really hot inside, the thermostat is always showing 80-81 degrees. Spoke to the person behind the register today about it and his response was”we have setup the thermostat to 70, what else can we do? “ really? Well, you have to get it fixed so people feel comfortable sitting and eating inside or else remove the chairs/tables and make it a take out only place. Unless they fix the inside temperature issues , won’t recommend eating in to anyone at this location."
