"Honestly? An elite brunch spot. I cannot speak to dinner here because I've only had brunch here on multiple occasions. The atmosphere is incredible inside. I think brunch can be an exceptionally difficult meal to get right but I'd say the fare is definitely above average. This past visit I had the Smoked Salmon and Avocado Tartine. It was good but could have used more salt. Their french toasts are very good (comparable to Green Eggs). Overall it's truly one of the better brunch spots in Philly."
"Wow! What a beautiful place to dine. Louie Louie is all about the vibes and the experience is extra special around the holidays. The service was excellent and the food was great. The only downside was the menu was a bit limited if you’re looking for chicken or beef, however if you are a vegetarian or vegan there is a lot on the menu to enjoy. I would definitely go back."
"We went for a New Year’s Eve dinner! The restaurant was absolutely stunning and the atmosphere was great for the holiday. We had reservations and got sat right away. The apps were very unique, but flavorful and presentation was just as unique. The main course was really good between the steak and duck breast. There was a small issue with my steak but the chef, sever and manager went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our meal. The dessert menu was to die for and made it difficult to pick just one dessert since there was so many great options. Can’t wait to go back!!!"
"Excellent service and meals in this classic art deco restaurant across from the University of Pennsylvania. We went for brunch and were not disappointed. I had the shrimp and grits And they were just as good as any I've had in the South. Our daughter had crème brûlée French toast and it was delightful. And my wife had the ham and egg omelette which was amazing. I would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the University of Pennsylvania campus in Philadelphia. The service was quick and friendly and the prices were not bad considering we were in the heart of Philly. Super accessible in terms of wheelchair access. I do recommend making a reservation as this place does get busy from what I understand. There was street parking available, however it was early on a Sunday. I am sure that planning ahead especially with parking would be a good idea."
"Food: we had the ham sandwich and the turkey bacon on a croissant. The croissant was delicious, we subbed turkey bacon for regular bacon. The ham sandwich was uninspired and well below my expectations. Service was great, our server was kind and attentive. The atmosphere was lively for a Sunday brunch, the venue is stunning."
