"I am interior designer and shop often at homegoods and tj maxx .. I’ve worked in retail a majority of my life and as a manager I would appreciate reviews like this, but that also means I tend to only leave good reviews so for me to give this one star that means my experience was pretty horrific ! Melanie B was extremely rude . She also walked past me and said “ I’m not in the mood tonight “ and another employee chimed in and said “ I’m not either “ than another employee came over the intercom and said Newark police line 9 .. the side conversations that customers should not be hearing, the unfriendly customer service, and confronting shoplifters over the intercom to possibly make other shoppers fear and not be aware why the newark police are on line 9 .. with an employee chiming in that employee who announced that .. is crazy (and I only know of this from working several years of retail, but I know my grandmother would be concerned if she heard such a thing) is exactly why I did my return, and did not purchase the items I had in my cart .. as a frequent shopper of tj maxx and homegoods .. I will not be returning to this store. I will say the store was very clean and stocked, and the gentlemen Luis who did my return was very pleasant, so it’s sad that other employees ruined this .. hopefully these issues are addressed and other customers can enjoy the shopping experience going forward !"

"Pretty standard TJMaxx. Found a new pair of rain boots that are super comfy. The cashiers at check out were very helpful and pleasant!"

"It's a good place to shop for home furniture, decoration pieces and apparels. Also one can look out for the clearance section, they might find something nice at a reasonable price."

"TJ Maxx is a great store with plenty of bargains to be found. The store is located in a decent shopping center with ample parking, making it easy to get in and out. The store is usually clean, but it could definitely be cleaner. On a few occasions, I have seen loose hair tangled on clothing, or in corners and on shopping cart wheels, which is not very pleasant. Despite this, I always manage to find something I like at TJ Maxx, and for such a great price too. They have a great selection of clothing, accessories, and home goods that are always a great value. I love browsing the store to see what new items they have in stock. One downside of TJ Maxx is that there is usually a wait at checkout, which can be frustrating, especially during the holiday season. However, over the years, they have gotten faster and more efficient at the checkout process. With a little more attention to cleanliness, this store could be even better. A solid 4-star rating!"
