"Their selection is nice, however, their customer service is severely lacking. I purchased a Phillies post season hoodie yesterday. It didn’t fit my daughter and she didn’t like it. I put it back in the bag with the receipt today to return it. I was told “specialty” items could not be returned for a refund. The girl pointed it out on the receipt and I walked out. I quickly returned to ask how I would know that prior to purchasing the item. The manager pointed out a taped piece of paper on the counter. The exact same place where people would lay their sweatshirt on a hanger and wait to pay. I kindly said that maybe a sign in front of the merchandise would have been helpful. The manager threw his hands up and pursed his lips, as to say he didn’t really care. He did this several times as I calmly expressed that his attitude toward a customer’s concern was distasteful. If a store is not going to allow returns on expensive merchandise, the least they could do is post a sign next to the merchandise and/or state that when purchasing. I’m mostly upset regarding the treatment I received from the manager. I will never purchase from there again and will keep my post season purchased to Dick’s Sporting Goods."
