"I used to go to the Polly Drummond location (the old Drummond Ale House) in the 80's and 90's when Mc Glynns was good. The food quality has steadily dropped in quality. I have been going to the Glasgow location but today was the straw that broke the camel's back. The old French dip is now a compressed pattie?? The female bartender rarely said "thank you" and couldn't say "your welcome"? After all my years of patronage, I will NEVER go back to a Mc Glynns/Ashby Hospitality Restaurant ever again, and wouldn't recommend to anyone!!"

"My family had a wedding rehearsal dinner in their private party room in the back Friday night. The room was set up perfect for 30 people! The food was delicious, especially the hot roast beef for sandwiches. We had our own server who was extremely attentive. Our food was hot and ready when we got there, and we were not rushed to leave. Our guests even commented on how good the food and service was. We would definitely go back should we have a need for a large room!"

"Had a few drinks and some food for dinner. The corn chowder was very good. Tried the cheese steak egg rolls and sauce, and I would highly recommend it. Staff was nice and fast with their service. Looks like they are renovating at the moment."

"The food came out in a timely manor. The presentation was amazing as well. Something that most people don’t notice is they even added a London newsprint wax paper which is the true Origin of the dish. The drinks also came in a timely manner and our server Cam was very friendly, and Considerate."

"The restaurant is clean and the staff are nice. The food order was a little slow but we did have soup and appetizers. The food itself was average. I ordered French onion soup which was unique compared to other places. The serving is large and it had a good flavor. I also ordered a hot roast beef sandwich. It wasn’t as I expected. It came out on a round roll with orange cheese. I did not like the gravy that it came with but the roast beef was the cleanest and most flavorful I have ever had on a restaurant roast beef sandwich. I be would return to this restaurant."
